改革后GRE写作Issue算分机制~

09月22日之后，GRE考试砍掉了写作Argument任务，只保留了Issue任务。

但是，很多同学选择不安排太多时间备考GRE写作，造成最终GRE考试时只能仓促完成写作任务。甚至，一些在托福考试中拿到28分以上的同学，进入到GRE写作考试时却碰了壁，最终写作分数却停滞在3分上下。为什么？

本篇文章，就带领大家一次性理解清楚，到底改革后GRE写作考试在只考Issue的情况下，是怎么判分的？不同分数的标准是什么？怎么有效备考？

首先，每篇GRE的Issue都会先由一名人类评分员human-rater根据GRE写作评分标准给出整数分数（0到6之间的任意整数，包括0分、1分、2分、3分、4分、5分、6分）。

其次，然后ETS的e-rater（ETS基于自然语言分析研发的阅卷程序）会给出0到6之间的实数分数（0~6之间的任意实数值，可能是小数，也可能是整数）。

>>分差小于1时

如果人类评分员给出的分数与e-rater的分数之间相差小于1，则两者分数的平均值为该作文的分数。

举一个例子，假设某考生的 Issue作文人类评分员打分4，e-rater打分3.55。由于两者分差小于1，因此，该Issue文章分数为两者取平均，即3.775，四舍五入最终分数为4分。

>>分差大于等于1时

但如果人类评分员给出的分数与e-rater的分数之间相差大于等于1，则作文会交给另一位人类评分员打分。

如果前后两位人类评分员的分数分差小于等于1，则该作文的成绩为两人的分数取平均，再四舍五入。

如果两人的分数再次出现严重分歧（这种情况极为少见），则作文会交由第三位人类评分员打分。如果第三人的分数接近前两人分数的平均值，则该平均值为作文最终分数；否则作文的分数为前两人分数中更接近第三人分数者与第三人分数取平均。

举一个例子，假设该考生Issue作文人类评分员打分为3，e-rater打分为4.33。由于两者分差大于1，此时需要第二名人类评分员打分。假如第二人打分为4，由于此时两人打分分差小于等于1，因此该Issue文章得分为两人类分数平均3.5，即为该考生作文部分的最终成绩。

>>查重

此外，每篇GRE作文还会由ETS的雷同文章探测软件和人类专家进行雷同检查。如果ETS发现考生的作文与其他考生的文章或市面上出版物以及网络上的材料过于相似，则ETS会认为考生的作文并非其独立创作的成果，则考生当次GRE考试语文、数学和写作部分的成绩都会被取消。

根据ETS官方信息，每篇GRE ISSUE文章，都会被从以下五个角度进行评价——

• 任务完成情况

• 论证质量

• 内容组织质量

• 语言表达能力

• 语言知识掌握情况

具体每个分数档位的文章，需要分别满足以下描述：

>>GRE写作6分标准

• articulates a clear and insightful position on the issue in accordance with the assigned task 提出了清晰有深度的立场并且紧扣了写作要求

• develops the position fully with compelling reasons and/or persuasive examples 使用了有说服力的论据来论证立场 

• sustains a well-focused, well-organized analysis, connecting ideas logically 维持了焦点明确，组织清晰地分析，并有逻辑地串联文中的要点 

• conveys ideas fluently and precisely, using effective vocabulary and sentence variety 能够有效使用词汇和多种句式进行流利且准确的表达 

• demonstrates superior facility with the conventions of standard written English (i.e., grammar, usage and mechanics), but may have minor errors 表现出卓越的语言知识和运用能力（比如：语法，用法，以及其他语言规则），但是可能存在细小错误

>>GRE写作5分标准

• presents a clear and well-considered position on the issue in accordance with the assigned task 提出了深思熟虑的立场并紧扣了写作要求

• develops the position with logically sound reasons and/or well-chosen examples 有逻辑的论证了立场或者提供了恰当的例子进行论证 

• is focused and generally well organized, connecting ideas appropriately 基本上焦点明确，组织清晰，并恰当地串联文中的要点 

• conveys ideas clearly and well, using appropriate vocabulary and sentence variety 能够使用恰当的词汇和多样的句式进行清晰的表达 

• demonstrates facility with the conventions of standard written English, but may have minor errors  表现出优秀的语言知识和运用能力，但是可能存在细小错误

>>GRE写作4分标准

• presents a clear position on the issue in accordance with the assigned task 提出了清晰的立场并紧扣了写作要求 

• develops the position with relevant reasons and/or examples 使用了相关的理由或者例子来论证立场 

• is adequately focused and organized 有焦点并一定程度上的组织了文中的要点 

• demonstrates sufficient control of language to convey ideas with reasonable clarity 能有效地使用语言进行清晰的表达 

• generally demonstrates control of the conventions of standard written English, but may have some errors 能够有效的使用标准语言知识，但是有一些错误

>>GRE写作3分标准

• is vague or limited in addressing the specific task directions and in presenting or developing a position on the issue or both 没有提出清晰的立场且没有紧扣写作要求 

• is weak in the use of relevant reasons or examples or relies largely on unsupported claims 没有有效地使用说理和例子来论证立场，论证中主要依赖主观想法 

• is limited in focus and/or organization内容缺乏焦点以及组织

• has problems in language and sentence structure that result in a lack of clarity 语言表达中存在一些问题导致表达清晰度下降 

• contains occasional major errors or frequent minor errors in grammar, usage or mechanics that can interfere with meaning 语法，用法以及其他规则上出现偶尔的错误或者存在频繁的细小错误，并影响了文章理解

>>GRE写作2分标准

• is unclear or seriously limited in addressing the specific task directions and in presenting or developing a position on the issue or both 忽略了写作要求同时没有提出立场 

• provides few, if any, relevant reasons or examples in support of its claims 没有提供说理或者例子来论证观点 

• is poorly organized and illogical 内容缺乏逻辑组织 

• has serious problems in language and sentence structure that frequently interfere with meaning 语言表达中存在严重问题导致理解困难 

• contains serious errors in grammar, usage or mechanics that frequently obscure meaning 语法，用法以及其他规则上存在严重错误，并影严重响文章理解

>>GRE写作1分标准

• provides little or no evidence of understanding the issue 不理解题目以及写作要求 

• provides little evidence of the ability to develop an organized response (extremely brief) 无法对立场或者要点提供论证

• has severe problems in language and sentence structure that persistently interfere with meaning 语言表达中持续存在严重问题导致无法理解 

• contains pervasive errors in grammar, usage or mechanics that result in incoherence 在语言上存在严重且频繁的错误导致文章无法理解
